JSMDC plays a steering role in activities such as – to acquire, take mining lease, prospecting licence, reconnaissance permit, acquire mines, beneficiation plants, concentration and refining plants, acquisition reclamation and improvement of railways, tramways, roads, sewerage, drainage, surface water rights
