To provide safe and sustainable tap drinking water to communities and raw water to industries by utilizing surface water resources and to provide sustainable treatment and disposal of sewage.
1. To ensure safe drinking water availability to all house hold with adequate quantity on sustainable basis by tap connection within household premises throughout the year and also ensure proper treatment and disposal of sewerage in the urban and rural areas.
2. To design, estimate, construct, augment, and prepare tender documents float tenders, sanction and issue work orders and monitor group water supply and sewerage disposal schemes for urban / rural areas.
3. To ensure conjunctive use of surface water, groundwater and rainwater for drinking purpose.
4. To generate awareness among the community, to form water users association for ensuring operation and maintenance of group water supply schemes through community participation.
